Booking Terms & Conditions
1. The “Property” known as “Ferrandou” is offered for holiday rental to
the “Client” subject to confirmation by the “Owners”, Mr R. Hollis and Ms.
E. Almira or their authorised agent.
2. To reserve the “Property” the “Client” should complete and submit the
booking form. Upon receipt of the booking form, the “Owners” or their
authorised agent will advise the "client" of the required deposit and
final date this is to be received and send a confirmation Invoice and
Statement. This is the formal acceptance of the booking.
3. The balance of the Rent is payable within 6 weeks before the start of
the rental period. If payment is not received by due date, the “Owners” or
their authorised agent reserve the right to notify the "Client" either by
telephone or by mail that the reservation is cancelled.
4. The “Client” is strongly recommended to arrange a comprehensive travel
insurance policy (including cancellation cover) and to have full cover for
the party’s personal belongings, public liability, accidents during the
holiday period etc., since these are not covered by the “Owner’s”
insurance.
5. The rental period shall commence at 4 pm on the first day and end at 10
am on the last day; rentals are normally from Saturday to Saturday, unless
otherwise agreed by both parties. The “Owners” shall not be obliged to
offer the accommodation before the time stated and the “Client” shall not
be entitled to remain in occupation after time stated unless agreed by
both parties.
6. The maximum number of people to reside in the “Property” must not
exceed four unless the “Owners” have given prior permission.
7. The “Client” agrees to be a considerate tenant, take good care of the
“Property”, and leave it in a clean and tidy condition at the end of the
rental period. Although a final clean is included in our prices, the
“Owners” reserve the right to make an extra charge to cover additional
cleaning costs if the “Client” leaves the “Property” in an unacceptable
condition.
8. The “Owners” shall not be liable to the “Client” for any temporary
defects or stoppage in the supply of public services to the “Property”;
any loss, damage or injury which is a result of adverse weather
conditions, riot, war, strikes or other matters beyond the control of the
“Owners”.
In any event of loss, damage or inconvenience caused to or suffered by the
“Client” if the “Property” shall be destroyed or substantially damaged
before the start of the rental period, the “Owners” shall refund to the
“Client” all sums previously paid in respect of the rental period. Under
no circumstances shall the “Owners” liability to the “Client” exceed the
amount paid for the rental period.
9. SWIMMING POOL. Normally available from May 1st until the end of
September. Children may not enter the swimming pool area unless they
are attended by an adult at all times. Toys with sharp or pointed parts
may not be used in the pool. Electrical items must not be taken into the
pool area. Diving is not permitted in the pool. The “Owners” have taken
necessary safety and precautionary measures as required by French law. The
“Owners” therefore will not be responsible for any mishaps however caused
(see para 4).
Notes:
All efforts are made to depict Ferrandou as it is, however, the owner
reserves the right to make changes to facilities without prior notice as
deemed necessary to maintain the standard of the accommodation.
Televisions are provided for the purpose of playing CDs, VCDs or DVDs. and
receiving a number of UK TV channels. You are invited to bring your own
material.
